On the 14th of February, 2024, the New Mon State Party (Anti-Military Dictatorship) issued a declaration to collaborate with the ethnic revolutionary organizations fighting against the Myanmar military and the Spring Revolutionary forces to protect civilians from the violence acts of the Myanmar military and to build a federal union where the equality and self-determination prevail.
The National Unity Government is delighted to welcome this announcement and 14th February is marked respectfully as a historic day for Mon Revolution.
To end the dictatorship in Myanmar and to build a federal democratic union, the National Unity Government affirms its profound commitment to collaborate with revolutionary forces including the New Mon State Party (Anti-military dictatorship) to collectively combat military dictatorship.
The National Unity Government urges the ethnic revolutionary organizations that have not yet participated in the revolution to join the People’s Spring Revolution by grasping the current opportunity to write their own destiny and for self-determination.
